🌅 Sunset FC Youth Coed Tournament – Regular Season Recap

All roads lead to Finals Day…

After three intense weeks of goals, comebacks, dazzling assists, and sideline snack negotiations, the Sunset FC Youth Coed regular season has wrapped—and what a ride it’s been.

From the opening whistle to the final hat trick, fans were treated to edge-of-your-seat moments and enough drama to warrant a Netflix deal. Now, with playoffs looming, let’s take a look back at what made this regular season one to remember.

👔 Coach Al: The Chessmaster of Swindon Town

Let’s start at the top—Swindon Town, the #1 seed. Under the tactical wizardry of Coach Al, Swindon didn’t just play football… they orchestrated it. From thrilling comebacks to absolute goal-fests (looking at you, 10–1 win over Inter Miami), Coach Al has managed his squad like a man on a mission—a mission to repeat as champion. Whether it’s Eli Conolly threading assists like a midfield magician, Brandon Elliot popping up everywhere from the wing to the stat leaderboard, or Yasmin delivering hat tricks with ice in her veins, Swindon looks as polished as ever.

Coach Al’s only problem now? Eli will be out for Finals Day. That’s right—Swindon will have to go trophy hunting without their midfield maestro. But if anyone can rally the troops and pull another tactical rabbit out of the hat, it's the man in the bucket hat himself.

⚡ Al-Nassr FC: Built Different

Tied with Swindon on points and stacked with talent, Al-Nassr FC has been on a tear all season. With Vincent Strommer scoring for fun and Sam Kennedy casually topping the leaderboard with 8 goals and 2 assists, this team has teeth—and they're not afraid to bite.

But don’t overlook the backbone of this squad: Aidan Kelly, who’s made more key tackles and interceptions than a Wi-Fi signal in a room full of teenagers. Al-Nassr has proven they can start hot and close strong, and they’ll be coming for revenge if they meet Swindon in the final again.

⚫ Juventus: Quiet Grit, Big Moments

Flying under the radar all season has been Juventus, sitting at a solid 3–3 and finishing third. But don’t sleep on the black-and-whites. With Tillie bagging braces and pulling the strings up front, and Olivia Thomas linking play like a veteran, this team has heart—and enough firepower to pull an upset on any given matchday.

Throw in Alex and Dylan McAuliffe, who’ve added goals, grit, and perfectly timed fist pumps, and Juventus could be Finals Day’s dark horse.

💗 Inter Miami CF: Grit > Goals

The season may not have gone Inter Miami's way in the win column, but if we’re talking spirit? They’re undefeated. Players like Jack de Saram and Ben have shown fight and flair despite tough losses.

Winless? Sure. Winless in heart? Absolutely not. Inter Miami will enter the playoffs looking for their miracle moment—and in youth football, stranger things definitely have happened.

🎯 Stat Leaders Recap

Player Team Goals Assists Points
Eli Conolly Swindon Town 7 4 18
Sam Kennedy Al-Nassr FC 8 2 18
Jack de Saram Inter Miami 7 0 14
Vincent Strommer Al-Nassr FC 6 1 13
Brandon Elliot Swindon Town 3 6 12

Tie at the top? Yes. Pressure at the bottom? Also yes. Final day magic is in the air.

🏆 And Now… We Dance

Four teams. One trophy. No Eli. No excuses.

Can Coach Al mastermind a repeat? Will Al-Nassr’s firepower finally push them over the line? Will Juventus crash the party and steal the crown? Or will Inter Miami flip the script entirely?

Finals Day promises chaos, glory, and possibly an orange slice shortage. Buckle up—this is Sunset FC, and it’s showtime.
